Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent food and water supplies to the birds.
- Monitor the health of the poultry, checking for any signs of disease or injury.
- Efficiently collect, clean, and pack eggs into cartons.
- Maintain optimal temperatures within the poultry houses to ensure bird comfort.
- Uphold bird welfare standards at all times.
- Adhere to strict security protocols when entering and exiting poultry facilities.
- Conduct maintenance on poultry houses, including water and heating systems.
- Carry out regular disinfection of the poultry environment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a poultry farming role.
- Basic communication abilities.
- Proficiency with essential farm equipment.
- Deep understanding of poultry care, feeding, and management.
- Knowledgeable in general farm practices and maintenance.
